Outgrowing Who They Thought You Were Screensaver
$0.50
This piece carries a quiet kind of defiance. Not loud, not reactive, just steady and certain in who you’re becoming.
As I created this, I sat with the Angels and set the intention for it to hold the energy of growth that doesn’t need permission. The kind that happens when you start choosing yourself, even if it means stepping away from who people expected you to be.
The phoenix here isn’t rising in chaos. It’s rising with clarity. There’s softness in the movement, but strength in the direction. This isn’t about proving anything. It’s about becoming something more aligned, more real, more you.
The colours reflect that balance. Warm gold and soft light coming through, with deeper tones grounding it underneath. It holds both the breaking away and the rebuilding, without making either feel heavy.
The words speak to something a lot of people feel but don’t always say. That moment where you realise you’re allowed to outgrow the version of yourself that kept others comfortable.
I’ve set the intention with the Angels for this piece to support you in trusting your own growth, releasing the need to stay the same for anyone else, and feeling more confident in the direction you’re moving.
This is something you’ll come back to when you feel pulled between who you were and who you’re becoming.
You’re allowed to choose the version of you that feels right now.
